Description:
- CVE-2026-70459: guard the parent_ndx consumer against an empty dir_flist so a
crafted first incremental file list cannot reach an uninitialised heap slot
(already blocked in els11 by the CVE-2026-53789 transfer-root rejection;
added as defence in depth to match upstream's final state)
- CVE-2026-70463: parse "auth users" with conf_strtok so the documented
leading-comma form splits on commas alone; whitespace splitting tore an entry
containing a space in two, so a :deny rule naming such a group never fired
- CVE-2026-53798: reject an empty or non-numeric name-converter response
instead of letting atol("") map an unknown name to uid/gid 0
- CVE-2026-53786: strip the module_dir prefix before checking a --filter merge
file against the daemon filter list, so an anchored module-relative rule
matches
- CVE-2026-53791: honour a PROXY header only from a peer matching the new
"proxy protocol hosts" parameter, so a direct client cannot spoof its source
address and bypass hosts allow/deny. NOTE: fail-closed as upstream -- a
daemon using "proxy protocol = true" must set "proxy protocol hosts" to the
trusted proxy's address or connections will be refused
