Release date:
2026-09-28 10:14:08 UTC
Description:
- CVE-2026-81642: check the scratch buffer capacity in
ds_create_dnskey_digest() before writing the DNSKEY owner name and RDATA, so
a DNSKEY whose owner name is a compression pointer into its own RDATA can no
longer overflow the digest buffer during DS validation; includes the upstream
unit test that exercises the bound with an undersized buffer
